Default Give me your opinion!

I was thinking on making a new super addon for the Grey Wolves mod...

Realised that i've made a lot of improvements on the Mod adding small dettaills and plus the game playing expirience was incrised bi the merging and adding of mi recent mod like The slideout Dials and
navigation tools...Then i thought why not simplefying the all thing and make just one big Mod for the ones that allready know the mods and this way also simplefying the mod instalation....
:hmm:

So i can do it if you guys give me an opinion on this pls...

I think you should relax a bit. Spamming the mod community doesn't mean it give a plus to the quality and make it better. No offence but that's the way I feel right now.

That's what I don't like.

JC, While we appreciate your work to the community, I think it is wrong to think that reunificating the mods into one and label it to your own work will get the respect of the other moders and the community.

Let me be straight here. I've ran into an incident 2 days ago involving your mod with the integration of my JIRM in it. Some guy,I won't name anyone, PMed me and made harsh remarks about JIRM, claiming it doesn't work properlly etc etc. Well, I find out after talks he was using in fact your mod and he was referenced to me because my name was associated in your mod in the Sticky thread above.

Needless to say, it was very difficult to deal with this harsh guy and I had to download the mod to see what he was talking about and guide him to correct his mistakes.

Don't get me wrong, I like people using my mods incorporated with their mods, but these issues like the one I mentionned just unpleased me much that I felt like I should leave the modding community (haven't play SH3 for a month and taking a pause in the modding activities).

You SHOULD step back. In fact, nothing more harmful by keeping hammering community with questionnable mods. Ask yourself this: are my mods usefull? Is it going to benefits anyone or people will just skip it? Then if you really think you studied the question then give it a try.

Give some slack, it just a friendly opinion and advice I just wanted to share.

If anyone think I am wrong and too rude about this, you have my appologies...

Sorry JONZ But what have to be said can’t be left for saying later…

First I will try to clarify something for you; I’m not saying this to offend you in anyway
But really sometimes you look like a reasonable person that is nice and polite and some other times you seem to be an Arrogant and unreachable person…
I’ve tried to understand since I’m here which one from those two you really are, and reached myself to no conclusion…

I don’t believe that you answer something like that to someone…
Let me info you about some details that you’re missing completely,
First yes its mi Mod that he is using right now, but I think you can help him
As well cause you’ve got enough skills to do so…
Second when you say that your JIRM mod doesn’t involve or touch any of this
Files you’re incorrect again, because those mod versions of mine used as base MENU_INI files the ones you provide with your JIRM Mod.
I think I start to really see what you are and what you’re trying to say here
But let me tell you a secret you as I and all of us are human and your and mi work, can or not be appreciated by others, this is what it is, I do love mi work, and I do like what I do, the only Mods I’ve created until now, were the Leer versions and the Intro and
Single missions screens, the rest is a question of merging what is already done, add and substitute some lines over the Menu_ini, that in the first place comes with your mod…
Youn seemed to have pleasure in taking down what others do, and also you’re turning so very important that even took the troble of insulting mi intelegence, thinking that I could just be quiet at mi corner , you are rong mi friend,
And above all, I think it is good thing that we are umbel enough besides being or not good, ( That is proved that you are) to realize that if we create a mod like you did, it can
Become so cool and great that new mods can become from that one, I think you should have pride on that and realize that this of errors and mistakes are all what is this of Moding is about, cause you’ll learn, and grow as a moder and can teach others
With your knowledge …

The bottom line here, is that yes you’ve got a part from your mod in this errors thing
And yes your mod touches this files…

…So you can be a nice guy and help when someone needs it…

Anyway I just ask for an opinion of should it be good or not, whanted or not, and it was proved that mi Mods were whanted, even if you think not, i didn't ask for a rol of sensorship from you
and also you can make me a favor of stop posting allover the forum when some error acours on your mods that it's because of mi mods that the errors hapend...

Assuming our mistakes mi friend, it doesn't mean that we are not good at all...

You can label me at arrogant as I admit I am, sorry but this is me.

I don't like to take smooth routes to say truth or feeling to somebody. Otherwise he or she will just keep doing the same mistakes. And no, I don't take pleasure in it, and my today's remarks make's me feel like I'm going to the bottom.

If someone snap because I'm hard, it just too bad for him, he's weak. I'm usually cool enough to guide peoples works to be successful, giving constructive critisms. And I've dealt with a great number people who had that kind of opinion toward me for beign too insisting and disagreeing. If they don't accept my critism, they just do the way they want and the results often better, believe it or not.

If someone says to me I'm an idiot or incompetent, I don't go in my bedroom and cry for it. I just shut up or giving my best to prove them wrong.

Your desperate needs to attact everyone's attentions of was one of the result of the unpleasant surprise I mentionned in the above post and I felt I had to vent about this.

You aren't leaving this community like the other post suggest. I know you won't because I know you can do great thing despite of what I've said. I don't want anyone quitting the modding scene at all. Right now I feel like I'm the one who should quit I feel like don't belong here, but that's a different story. I just wanted to express my opinion. I'm pretty sure you will just have a better thinking of what you will doing the next time.... So am I.

I will not post anything more in here....
I made mi point and Jonz as made his and thats it, we don't have to be friends to work toghether, and i didn't whent nowere to cry mate, i just backed off as you sujested to prevent some more fire
on this fireplace, and i don't think i've got to prove anything to you, as i've said it before i'm in this for the fun, not for mi personal community recognitio or other peps, respect...

I remember an Indian proverb that i eard when a boy and it's something like this The ones who know this native language forgive mi Errors I'm a litlle rusty):

" Wak Ieack aetok kikteac, het kuaw ik tetak waich toktuo"

" Be carefull don't be to vain to forget behind your owne shadow!"

If you think Jonz that i don't admire what you do you're rong mi friend, if i didn't i wouldn't had downloaded your mods, at the begining i followed your guide lines of work, but as you, and beeing 43 years old allready, i add allways lots of guys under mi "orders"
as team mates, some i teached and some bellieve it or not i learn with despite them beeing younger or less skillfull, with you i tryed to learn, and espected your advise at the begining, even helped you with info on some site as you will remember, but it comes a time when you see all rong vibrations and words from you , and everything i done was rong for you mate, iff you look carefully to your updated drag Chrono you'll see that the switch isn't that perfect, ...
...Did you ever eard any word from me telling you that was crop or unperfect or even rushed?
...No , cause i like to give people time, to work, to get better and improve, someone talled me recently, " Rome was not build in a day!"...
...I think you have to turn a bit that agresive atitude , that leeds you to creticise others work purhaps the rong way, and learn how to do it smoothlly and respect for the hours that maybe that someone add spent doing what you think isn't good...

....Finally I think we, have to start both of us all over from the begining....I can be the first!

....If you whant i can be the first!...

....Hello Jonz i'm Jcwolf!

PS: CCIP, maybe would be a good idea if you lok this thread mate, and sorry about this all stuff!
