Default RUBINI... wishing you a safe voyage.

In my opinion, there is no more important role in modding, than the one Rubini has chosen and supported for so long.

Silent Hunter III players around the world owe much of the pleasure they get from the game to Rubini.

Without all of the life added to ports, harbor areas, and campaign files ... SH3 would truly be a dull world to play in.

Rubini has served this community better than most of us and has done so cheerfully, without complaint. In many many ways, Rubini's true personality has shown itself time and time again. This man has been part of the solution to many things.

Just to take this a bit further, in real life Rubini has spent many years in the medical profession easing the suffering of others.

I've had the pleasure that few have had, working with Rubini closely while building the Grey Wolves campaign. His patience was seemingly boundless.

I feel entirely fortunate that I've had the opportunity to get to know this man... and call him my friend.

So ladies and gentlemen I stand at attention and raise my coffee cup in a toast... and invite all who feel the same to sign this thread...

Rubini,

Wherever the sails may take you...

May the sun always shine on your face and the wind be at your back.

May you and your family live long, safe, and happy lives.

... and know that any time you wish, you will always find a warm welcome in this port of call.

PROST!!! SINK THEM ALL!!!

with deep gratitude we salute you,

SALUTE!!!

Kpt. Lehmann

Absolutely!

Thanks Rubini... without you silent hunter 3 would be lifeless

and thanks to all the other modders out there for that matter!

IMHO hardly anyone would still be playing this game if it were'nt for the constant improvements and new additions to this game, which make every campaign a richer experience than the last.

Thanks guys,
Thanks Kpt Lehmann,

I will start my Medical Ph.D. studies in ten days. I will stay out of the forum for long time now. I intend to help GW first update in background and also NYGM team with UC and EUC if they wish.
SH3 was my first intense experience with a game community and as a modder worker. I can say that this is more interesting than to really play the game... ...: you make friends, acquire more skills on some computers advanced tools and also learn a lot of WWII universe which is one of the issues that I like very much.
Well, and about the Campaign's works I'm not the only guy here: Ops Team, NYGM team, Travinsky, HanSolo, all the Germany's great Sh3 mods and a lot of others peoples here...all we worked with campaign on SH3 and all the final works are very, very good with their own goodies.
I also should like to recall some others guys like Beery, Sergei and Sansal. Three absolutely important guys for SH3 mod community...and in truth the list will be big and big because all we here are always contributing: this community rocks!

Thanks guys.
I will came back after some months!

Best wishes from Munich for you Rubini.
After Kpt Lehmann's speech I was afraid of losing you and your work (which I've been using ever since the first HT Mod) completely. All the best to you and to your new career. Hope to be seeing you around once in a while!
