Hi guys,
can you help me? After two or three times I play the GW mod and just start tasting the great improvements of the game, I can't run the SH3 anymore. When I try to launch the game, an error message window tells me that "application is not proprely initialized (0xc0000005)". I tried to reinstall the game with the GW mod but the problem didn't disappear. Sh3 never gave me any problem, even using other mods (Real u-boot). Please help me!! ![]() |

That is a new one.
Rule number one. When installing a new mod package like this make a complete copy of the previous Data folder and save that in an outside the game folder. That way, any problems you can remove the new data folder and return to a known good one. Also. When you do a complete reinstall and patch 1.4b make a copy of that stock data folder as well. I just installed Greywolves and I took out my mod Data folder and put the stock 1.4b patched one in to install GW. I do believe GW recommend you install that with a stock q.4b install. Wulfmann

A stupid problem I always have when I make a clean install for a mod is that I often forget to patch the game to 1.4b before putting mods on.
This always results in the kind of error your describing, that pops up halfway during the initial loading screen. As long as you install the game, patch it, and copy grey wolves right over it, theres shouldn't be a problem. Unless your GW files are incomplete... |
