Default Problem with CCIP Kiel canal mod... FIXED

I have two problems with it.

One annoying problem is I always run into a port that doesn't show up on map...

Secondly I always CTD when I come close to this place in the game (not in the editor, it just to show you where)

(editor show)

I don't have installed the canal.mis traffic.

EDITED:
FIXED
Solution:

I just replace the value for that penang port.

Long=9.120715
Lat=53.8929
Heading=180
OnLand=false
ShowOnMap=true
FileName=Penang

Changed to
Long=9.120715
Lat=53.8929
Heading=180
OnLand=false
ShowOnMap=true
FileName=Penang

It really better than before, and the port is still in the area.

I Found the CTD problem. The last entry was causing the CTD. I don't know why. I removed the last City_Fr_Gr and no more CTD.

I've had the same problem with running into things that aren't on the map...it makes it impossible to just plot a course and go to 64x TC.

I had the running into things problem too...twice! Since then I know where they are and stick to the left (south) side of the Canal.

Of course I wouldn't mind having them on the map anyway.

As far as CTDs near that port, I haven't had that problem.

JonZ, I like your feet. :rotfl:

I haven't quite figured out why that happens. Last I checked, that port was supposed to be set as marked on the map, but you're right, it's not.

The simplest, I guess, would be to move it a little. :hmm:

Not showing on map is perhaps because it have to be added in LND layer??

I just replace the value for that penang port.

Long=9.120715
Lat=53.8929
Heading=180
OnLand=false
ShowOnMap=true
FileName=Penang

ShowOnMap=true

I fited the port a bit to the left to fit in the "hole" there was. I still don't know why I get CTD when I come close to the Djakarta port.

I have the canal mod as part of GW, and have never had any problems... just stick to the centre and I'm fine.

the ctd came prolly cause of a space behind one value in the deleted block. u may try to add it again and check theres no space(s) behind the value of each single parameter in block.
u can double check also the Terrain Modding post for more detail infos.

page 8 to the end of the side.
