Default Question About Unified Campaign mod

I've compared the zon files of Vanilla with TW+GW unified campaign of the new battleships and they are the same files.

Don't the NYGM damage mod have to alter these files in order to make them sink by sinking??

Checked the .zon files of the vanilla Unified campaign.

Everything seems ok except the HMS Ceramic and the NKGN, these two are NYGMed with 2160 HPs each. But with the stock zones.cfg, they will need about 20 torpedos to sink . Rubini probably needs to check this for the next version.

Also I've noticed in the NPTR.cfg file:

[Unit]
ClassName=PTR
UnitType=103
MaxSpeed=15
Length=167
Width=12.3
Mast=37
Draft=9
Displacement=7476
RenownAwarded=7476

Renown is the same as displacement Sounds cool when sinking passenger ships

It seems to be a bad input. I have 420 Renown in my cfg file, and 8000 for displacement... The log files from UC also indicate 8000t.

Same kind of error with the KGN cfg file and NCL_Southampton.cfg file.

I also noticed that the hospital ship renown is set to 0 instead of the promised -10k. That's probably why people witness great score even despites of the sinking of these ships.

That's my observations.

JonZ,
VonHelsching,
Yes, the Roster and Sea folder needs some adjust not only for Vanilla but also for GW and NYGM in UC/EUC. I used the Roster and Sea folder from GW...so this also means that GW needs the same adjust. Well, NYGM TW introduced a lot of new modifications on the ships files: new .zon and .cfg files for all the ships. All new ships on the community needs now to be adjusted to be incorporate on NYGM mods...This is a bit more complicated situation for we now. For Vanilla and RUB/IUB I suggest to just use the stocks .zon and .cfg ship's files. For NYGM/GW it's needed a zon and cfg adjusts for all ships (GW uses NYGM ship damage mod but not uses the NYGM tonnage war mod so no need to modify the cfg files for GW).
And to finish, when the first GW update arrive I will release also a update for UC/EUC Roster and Sea folder with these corrections.

Rubini.

I will try like heck to put out an update by the end of this week. There will still be some things that need tinkering with... but I think we have a good bit fixed up.

Igor, what is clock face gauge? I haven't seen any "clock face gauge" ever BUT chronometer. :hmm: I'm sure it can be VERY difficult to give rudder orders via chronometr. How to restore default gauge, that's the guestion I'm not sure I have an answer. Sorry. I'm sure someone other will help you to solve out this.
