Default Already having problems

I installed the JSGME in - c:\program files\ubisoft\silent hunter III folder. When I ran it, it told me there was an upgrade, so I downloaded that and copied it to the same place. It then told me to run a game file backup folder which I did. It then told me to compare files which I did and there were no errors. You said to download the largest mod that I wanted to install, which would be the Merchant Variety Pack. I copied that into the MOD folder and when I tried to run it, I got files missing. I did it again and now I have 2 folders, MVP-1.0 and Silent Hunter III. I have done nothing with this yet because I am now confused what to do next. I ran SH3 to see if it still worked and it does. Now what do I do regarding the installation of this large mod. The documentation is confusing to me. Sorry I'm so stupid. But I need assistance and direction. Robert

Hi Rob, when starting JGME for the first time the MODS directory is created in the SH3 base directory, within the Mod directory should be a directory that is the name of the mod itself, this Name should appear on the left side of JGME screen (meaning disabled) if it appears on the right side then it is enabled. Since you are having problems disable the mod for now.
The mod file structure should be as follows:
SH3 base/MODS/Name of Mod/data as appears in SH3 base directory (probably data folder). If your mod is not in this order then your data is being copied to the wrong areas, you will have to edit it correctly, most mods are JGME ready. Hope this is of some help!
Reece.

Default Sorry, Perhaps I did not explain myself

The JSGM [or whatever it is called, I forget] is already installed in the C:\program files\ubisoft\Silent Hunter III folder and seems to be working fine. The previous person who responded told me to download the largest file first and installit. That would be the Merchant Variety Pack [11.8 MB] I have it in the MOD folder; but I'm a little confused on what to do from there? Thanks for responding Reese.
