Hmm, as they were planning to be at Beta stage by 2005 I guess they have slipped a bit, huh?

Looks pretty good, but Lock On still looks better I reckon.
I'm not sure if i like the Falklands war idea... more like the Falklands massacre.

faklands could be a interesting war theather for a game.

Despite the british superiority at sea, Argentine air force fought braverly and the results could be a lot worse for the british if some bombs don´t became dud and explode correctly in their targets.

actually, it wasnt the duds, it where the rockets used as air-air weapons.... the RAF had "smart" misiles.

eventho' we prefer the term "military challenged"

and, well, yeah, it was a masacre, it was like david vs goliath, but goliath won this time
trebuchets vs seaharriers
recruits vs profecional soldiers
the ARA Veinticinco de Mayo (a WWII carrier) vs Vstol Carriers of the royal navy.

Yes, the Argentinian air force might have had even better succes and the conflict wold have last a lot longer. They should have placed some of the Etentdarts in the Falklands, now they had to fly from te mainland with great difficulty (and skill btw). One mistake was also that the Argentinians didnt hit the landing beaches but were waiting dug in for the Brits to come.
