(REALLY hope this is not a stupid question....)
Hi. ![]() I've been lurking here for a few months. Could not find any info on this and needed some help. Is there any way to make the AI subs deploy their Towed Arrays? I'm only about average with the Mission Editor but I've tried all types of triggers, scripts, tactics I could think of. I also downloaded a bunch of missions and went through all of them with Truth on but couldn't find any AI subs with their TA out. I'm using DW v 1.03 and LWAMI v 3.02 and the AI is pretty aggressive and all that. It's just this TA thing which I can't figure out. |

The TA's are always out for AI subs in LWAMI.
If there is less than 50ft of clearance under the submarine, then it will not function. AI do not use "masts and wires" the same way humans do... their sensor use is somewhat abstracted.

The water is pretty deep (> 2000ft)...
By abstracted do you mean the TA doesn't show up in the 3D view (Navmap) but they're acually using it? |

Yes, you do not see the AI using masts or cables of any kind, but they are using them in game terms.
This is because the 3-d models for platforms other than ownship do not show masts or cables... this is true for other player controlled platforms in MP as well.

Thanks.
I was a bit worried I had installed it wrong. |
