Default decks awash mod

Anyone know where to get it? I had it at one time but have misplaced the file after numerous reloads, etc. BTW, will it work with NYGM tonnage war mod? Thanks.

You just have to open the cfg files in each submarines folder (..data/submarines/)

and raise the surface depth settings.

Cant remember which name exactly, but you have to raise something like

surface = 6

you change that value by incrementing it by 2 or 3.

surface = 8; (meter)

Like jons sayd open each cfg file in game submarine folder

example

open data\Submarine folder
find lats say NSS_Uboat2A folder and open it
find file NSS_Uboat2A.cfg and open it with your notepad
find the line SurfaceDepth and change the number from 5 to 7 meters.

Now change the paramentrs in folders
NSS_Uboat2A and NSS_Uboat2D to 7

NSS_Uboat7b,NSS_Uboat7c,NSS_Uboat9b,NSS_Uboat9c,NS S_Uboat2A9d2 to 8
___________________________________________
and the final folder NSS_Uboat21 to 10
(i think its a XXI type of uboat :hmm: )

That should do the trick

now all you need to do is start a campaine and dive to 7-8 or 10 meters depend of what type you boat you have

the only problem with that method is you will still be able to use the deck gun under water

This may be possible, if it hasn't already been thought of.....

Rather than change the surfaced depth, as you would then always be running decks awash, set the "snorkel depth" - ";" key to 8 meters. that way you could select that depth when needed. In SH2 that depth ssetting was always enabled, not sure if it is accesible in SH3 without a snorkel installed
