Default tips for a beginner

Hey i am looking for some help in finding a sub game to play. I haven't played a sub game since Silent Service for NES. I need help in finding a sub game to play. I looked at reviews on Silent Hunter 3 and Dangerous Waters and both games look awesome. Is there any games you guys recommend. Or should i wait till Silent Hunter 4 comes out.

Depends what you like modern or old, im more of a modern person so i play dangerous waters and command nuclear submarines, and sometimes if im flushed the Kilo diesel submarine.

The same thing as my mate above said. But there is one more thing woth mentioning, SH3 is a bit easier to start with in my opinion. I think most people that have tried both games would agree with me. Nevertheless, both games are awesome. If I would have to chose between those two games, I would chose SH3, I love the graphics and the historical era more.

If you mind these things: DW comes WITHOUT and SH3 comes WITH StarForce.

Depends on your taste, SH3 might take 3 hours to set up one shot for you to only miss, with my submarine might take only 10 minuets and im nye on garenteed a kill with my wire guided torpedo's.

SH3 for historical value and graphics cant beat it but for real life modern day dangerous waters kicks a$$.

I command an akula its a russian nuclear powerd hunter killer submarine it has 14 torpedo tubes to the 688i 4 and seawolfs 8, on top of that my capiblity is extended by missiles.

On board i have several types of missiles, anti ship missiles, anti submarine missiles (americans dont have) and land attack so im very much multi role capible, as are the american submarines.

There are advantages that DW has over SH3 the subs go deeper faster and are more capible as would be expected.

Its not fair to say that SH3 requires more patcience infact it requires just as much and also skill.

So it level pegs realy but buy both and see what you get on with best can always return the one you dont like.
