Default killing watch tower

hi,

I have a big problem witch killing watch tower

The watch tower of my uboot is killing my crew
When I load game the watch tower is automatically filled with crew. The problem is that this tower was destroyed during dc attack so filled man change status to dead.

My qustion is:
Is it possible to raise killed crew members from dead?
How to prevent autometed watch tower filling?

Please help because for a couple of game loads all of my crew will be killed

Maybe, once you are clear from all enemy contact, you should just end the mission via esc.

I think it's a bug in the game, when crew are killed upon loading a save-game, and they are stuck on a damaged/destroyed bridge. There's no way out of it that I know of, except to go back to an older save-point with no bridge damage.

It also happens if men are on the flak-gun(s), if the guns are damaged.

Sounds realistic, if the bridge and guns are damaged or destroyed chances are those fragile flesh sacks will be as well.

Once you end the mission, the tower will be fixed in port, and then from then on you'll be OK again, that may be your only way out.

Or why can't you just repair the tower while still out to sea?

Because it can't be rapaired at sea, when I check it in my repair crew they say no damages to repair...

I end patrol as you say but I havn't any older save games (I use only 1 save and always witch exit option) so this patrol will be critical for my crew- 8 seamans lost by killing watch tower and 1 by dc attack

Woahh!? Are you sure?
Never seen something like this... Destroyed conning tower is kills watch crew.

Had several occasions to prove this kind of destruction:
1942 august - Mediterranean, when 5 Sunderlands bombed me almost to death near sothwest Malta (near Pantelleria)
1942 november southeast Greenland when I was first depthcharged by convoy support and shortly after that attacked by two Catalina's. Very nasty sharp attack, straight through storm clouds.

If conning tower is already destroyed there's no place for watch crew.

Btw, Joachim Schepke died when british destroyer rammed his sub's conning tower.
