Default How to kill a C2

Hey Folks, I don´t know if already posted, didn´t find anything in the forum search, but I was trying in some convoy battles what is the most effective way to blow up a C2 with a single torp.

Okay I have no 100% solution but mine works out at 90%.

The secret is impact fuse and 4,5m running depth for the eel. Aim for the main superstructures or the default lock point of the Scope/UZO. 9 of 10 hits blow the C2 directly to pieces after impact. Good hunting, and greets from Krautville.

C 2 and C 3 sometimes tend to blow up when hit in board near fuel - magnetic torpedo is not always as effective...

Most I can sink with 2 torpedoes.
Some I have had to put 3 and 4 into.
There have only been a couple I have sunk with 1 torpedo.

I use magnetic torps with its depth set to 1m below the hull and i kill them everytime with 1 shot, as long as i hit it under its center it cracks it in half

Just sunk one this afternoon while I was playing. Had a 89 degree AOB had my tube door open and hit the fire button at 001, or 359 if he is going the other way. Torpedo was set on impact at 4.5 meters. No preset section of ship was selected just on auto. It went up in a fireball and sank within 1 min. Calm seas

Try it see if it will work for you as well.

NOTE: As you read this, keep in mind that I run IUB V1.02 with the full vulneriability mod and this may (or may not) apply to you.

The sure-fire way to sink a C2 with one torpedo:

1. Set your torpedo to run at 5m depth, no more... no less.

2. Torpedo speed is optional with the G7a Type I torpedoes.

3. To hit the perfect spot, your crosshairs should be aimed between the C2's smoke stack and the very front of the superstructure.

If you aim and shoot with your target locked, then the torpedo will hit too far forward. If you have the full vulnerability mod, your shot should be placed perfectly on the joint of the fuel tank and the engine compartment.

The sure-fire way to sink a C3 with one torpedo:

1. Set your torpedo to run at 8m depth with impact pistol set

2. Again, torpedo speed is optional with G7a Type I torpedoes.

3. Unlike the C2, if you lock your target and fire your torpedo, you will crack the ship in half with the above settings in place.

This will not work half the time if the target is zigzagging. I've even nailed him at a 90-degree angle and sometimes he blows up, sometimes he doesn’t. The closer you are to him, the better the chance of a one torpedo knockout against a C3 while zigzagging.
