Default NYGM Minefield Mod

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Have you ever caught yourself having peak after finding yourself inside a minefield. Come to think of it, how did you know in the first place? :rotfl:

Fear not I have the solution...

Today I present you with the NYGM Minefield Mod. The NYGM Minefield Mod consists of the ‘invisible’ mine. Yes Boys N Girls, no more 'cheating' by using the periscope or the external view to navigate through the minefield…

I have a carrot with this mod in that the HP is way down from the original values.

The NYGM Minefield Mod will be available in the NYGM Tonnage War Mod and fear not, we will include the original just in case you cannot make this exciting leap.

Hmm nice, but if mens like me have Water density downed to 6 or use RuB, we wont need those invisible mine

If a realistic maniac like you wanted to correct the inefectiveness of mines you had to multiply the mines in the fields in the first place

Hmm.. :hmm:

Seems to me that the people who were concerned enough about not using external view to cheat already play with external view turned off, or simply don't use external view in such situations.

Why spend your time on a mod when disipline works nicely?

Because...

It took all of 5 minutes to do, start to finish.

There will be times when we are weak, and we 'look through the periscope' and then regret it, I know I have. Then I have to chuck away a good career.

You chuck away a whole career just because you "cheated" a little?

That's hard-core, dude.

can you make invisible planes and ships too? I would also like invisible landscape to get the full realism of being on the submarine. I personally think they added too much extra stuff to this sim that is not needed. They should just make you stare at a wall.

Is it a historical fact that a Uboat captain would not have resorted to attempting to use the scope when in mine fields?

I think it is inpossible because you'll need at least a 30 m visualiblity range. That's a lot especially below 15 m (no sun).

Too much hardcore realism would not appeal everyone.
I hope you will release this only as an addition for your bigger mod.

Agreed...

I like alot of realism and all,but that kinda goes way overboard for me.If it is included as an optional install then that would be great.

There is realism and then there is too much realism, and too much makes for a game that is just no fun to play anymore. If I want that level of realism I'll go join the Navy.
