MAD sensitivity

Is there a maximum depth senstivity for the MAD sensors on aircraft? I was testing a mission design tonight and noticed that one of the Bear's ended up doing loops around/across my course. No matter what depth I was at it appeared to maintain MAD contact. He didn't use sonobouy's so that's the only sensor I can think he detected me with.

Is there a maximum depth for MAD detection modeled in the game?

...yeah... but last I checked, only the mh60 mad was not capable of seeing the playable non-diesel subs near their max depth.
