Finally saw some Luftwaffe action

During my second trip in the Med i finally saw some action from the Luftwaffe.

I had just set up for a shot at a British Liberty as i suddenly noticed it was firing all its deckguns at something. There were no other ships around and its fire was not directed at me so curiously i went to the F12 view and found 2 Condors leaving the scene with 1 of them trailing smoke.

After i had crippled the Brit with the first torpedo now a couple of Stuka's came in and scored some very near misses while taking some heavy flak. Finally they left it with more fires starting on the deck.

While all this was happening a couple of Catalina's decided to bomb a piece of ocean where i was previously. I then waited to see if the Stuka's and Catalina's would engage each other but this did not happen.

But this was very much fun

Using any mods for them? if so which ones?

The only mod i'm using that could have influenced this is the Airpower mod supplied with Harbour Traffic 1.4 something

But i can't be sure because i've never been in the Med before installing it

.

Anyone else have any experience with this mod and might be able to tell us if this is the result of this mod ?

That's the only place (all of 1 time!

) I've ever seen friendly aircraft, and in action. It was in the Med too, based at the 29th Flotilla. That's with no AC mods.

The Med must be the answer. I haven't been there, it's late 1941, and I have yet to see any friendly aircraft (except for patrols over Brest harbor). Using HT mod only.

i saw friendly aircraft just the other day in the north sea (grid AN)

late 39 or early 40, i was following a C2 that i had torpedoed, in time compression and while surfaced. it was rough seas and i was hoping things would calm down so i could just gun the ship down.

then i get an aircraft report. both friendlies and enemies show up. the c2 was damaged but not sunk. its a shame the two sides don't engage in midair though, it would be nice to get air cover!

no mods btw
