iub and commander

Ive put a clean install of sh3 onto my pc. Ive installed the 1.4 update. Now i want to instal iub and commander mod.

Before I go ahead and make a mess of things i would be greatfull if someone could advise me of how i go about installing these mods and which i install first etc.

Any further advice would be greatly appreciatted.

Which is the "better" mod, iub or rub?

I would get the mod enabler from JonesSoft JSGME and install this first.;
then install iub 1.02. If your machine runs slowly, then install the
8Km atmospheric mod;
then install the SHIII CMDR.
These mods are available at terrapin's U-Boat simulation site.
If you read all the readme files and follow the instructions carefully, all will work perfectly.

thanks for the reply. Am i right in thinking that i have to run the game at least once before i install commander?

Install commander then run the game....commander will install files needed at that time....than exit game and start thru commander.
