Default Surface Draft..

I just downloaded time traveler's mod for crush depth. I see also that surface draft can be modified.

I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this aspect of the program. ...can one alter the area above the surface of the boat?
Common practice was for u-boats to have"decks awash" for surface attacks where just the conning tower was above water. Seems that SHIII has either surfaced fully of dived.....

thats pretty easy to change, all ya need to do is edit each sub's .cfg file, change the surface depth value by adding a meter or so. The value basicly determines the depth the sub can go while keeping crew on deck. Technicaly you can set this as low as you want (and have your crew on deck at 200m if ya want. The game will also let you man the guns up to the specified surface depth.
