Installation Question

My friend wants to get SH3, but he is worried about starforce messing up his system. Is there a procedure to install the game and apply the no-DVD patch without SF ever installing itself on the computer?

Well to answer part of your question, Starforce has tools to remove it's protection program from your computer. I haven't tried it myself but I think you can just download it from their site and it will remove Starforce, however it will be right back if you put the DVD in to play again..

Ok clearly it is time for the (seems like ) weekly reminder that the same rules apply to private messages as do to posts.

And any posting of links to hacks, cracks, warez or any of the other "darker" sides of this hobby, whether by public post or by pm, will result in people losing their posting privileges.
