Excellent. I'd love to do combined ops with this ship.

But I don't know, it looks like these British sailors need some training. Third picture down looks like a friendly fire incident on a US Navy Frigate. Or was that a Rescue operation? :hmm:

The model is very beautiful. I like that but the flag could be put away. It doesn't look very professional.

On the contrary that is realistic.

There is a photo of a Type-23 with a Jack of the Union on the roof.

Nice work again Xabbarus. Your skills have come along really well from the days of SC.

And Tlam, nice paint job there.

Xabba I'm going to send you a real quick update on the paint. I forgot to paint part of the Harpoon launchers (the angled thing). I'll get that to you ASAP.

Not trying to be rude. But the skin so much "shinny'er" with less detail than the original.

About 1/3rd of the original’s detail is stuff that is now part of the 3d model. As for the Shininess making it look weathered was beyond the scope of my skills and the time allotted.

Its a good skin. Looking at it more closely... its the lack of skin detail forward of the gun that most noticeable. I think that if you look at the pic, the gun is preceded by a triangular wedge and jutting pylons on the forward most hull, as well as some darkened deck areas. Original skinning puts some details in the forward most bow to simulate the pylons, rope ties, etc. Perhaps messing around with some of the the forward most skinning would improve the outcome.

That's really the most noticeable thing that catches the eye. As far as shinyness.... perhaps just make the entire skin one or two shades darker would help.... see how much more grey the OHP is compared to the Duke. A couple of shades darker could be all it needs to be consistent with the other models.
