Oooh! 3Dmark06! Eye-candy!

Well, well. Another year, another benchmark with some pretty eye candy to look at. Not much new here really, they recycled most of the old 05 benchmarks and added various new effects and lighting to them. That seamonster looks like they dumped it in toxic waste after they finished making 05 and just pulled it out now. Ick.

I'm reminded of just how ****ty my system is. I got completely owned by every test. Not a single one managed an average of 15 FPS or above

Ended up with 2484 3Dmarks. Meh. It's not like I download it because I want to see how fast this old junker is. I want the fancy eye-candy to look at. Mmmm. Good stuff though. The Deep Freeze was very nice.

Anyway, here's my specs if anyone is interested.

AMD Athlon XP 3200+
1 GB of Corsair XMS DDR 400 in Dual Channel mode
Geforce 6800 GT 256 MB at 400/1050

Let's see what you guys got!

That still sounds like a decent system still. Its not the best, but its not bad either.

PS. I'm thinking an Athlon X2 4400+ with 2 GB RAM, and 2x ATI x1900's operating in SLI as my next box. Waiting for the x1900 test results first though. Oops, I mean operating in crossfire.
