My first "real" career

Just thought I'd post the results of my first "real" career in SH3...just to prove that I do occassionally play for the fun of it!



(I had a little bit of engine trouble in patrol 11).

As expected, unchallenged top Ace!

The retirement of Jäsen Jones I now paves the way for his younger and more aggressive brother Jäsen Jones II to take command of boat and crew (made much easier by the next release of SH3Cmdr)...

Quick question for you or anyone that might read this -

Front Clasp and U-Boat badge - how many patrols to earn these?

Second career for me with IuB and SH3commander mods now on patrol 10 of second 12 patrols for first.

Have not seen either badge yet.

Any thoughts?

I have a question as well: I have no problem taking screenshots in-game, but how do you take screenshots of your SHIII Commander files, such as the one you posted here?

Alt Print Screen. Unless there is anouther method, I'd imagine the above image was croped in a progam like paint before being posted

I use RUb and SH3Cmdr and you'll see from the Personnel File that I got the Clasp after the 2nd patrol (near 5 years before the clasp even existed mind you) and the Badge after the 3rd.

Hehe, yes, Jäsen Jones I was a conservative man. His brother is a bit more of a risk taker LOL. We'll see how the different styles impact...

There are easier ways (screen capture proggies for example), but I simply took an Alt-Printscreen of the top half of the page and an Alt-Printscreen of the bottom half. Pasted both into Paintshop Pro and joined them together. Cropped the browser bits and voila.

Hehe. Real as in comparison to the 20,000 careers (OK, maybe a slight exaggeration) that I've started while testing SH3Cmdr!
