Guys I am sorry about this but I still can not get a verification of which version of SH III I am using. A buddy of mine downloaded version 1.4B to a cd and I installed it as it gave me a confirmation that the installation was successful. However I can not find a version number anywhere. Some guys claim it appears on the lower right of the screen during the main menu. I have found in my case that just does not happen. The cd that my buddy gave me had version 1.4b listed as the program on the disk and as I said it was a self extracting program and gave me a veral confirm of a successful install. Any suggestions!!!

as far as I know thats where it is right bottom corner on the main menu

There is anouther way.

Go to the directory on your Hard Disk where SHIII is stored. The default is c:/program files/ubisoft/SilentHunterIII

In this directory, there should be a readme text file. It will differ whether you are using the European or US version (mine for example is "readme EMEA EN") but you should find something like that.

Open the file and it will say if you are using version v1.4 or not
