Not so Friendly Fire

Hi all I using SHIII 1.4b + RuB 1.45 + Harbour traffic

I am attacking a large convoy of 20 merchants with 3 escorts.
All ships in the convoy fly the Red Ensign except one which is flying the flag of netherlands (a neutral ship).

When I attack any merchant in the convoy (not the netherlands one) the escorts blow the crap out of the neutral netherlands merchant.

Im submerged depth 50 metres and they havnt spotted me.
Im not anywhere near the line of fire of the escorts.

This has happened twice with two seperate large convoys.
once in May 1940 and again Dec 1940

Bug ? or Feature ?

lack of testing bug....more specifically IMHO.
