Default SHIII-inspired sketches

I think I've done it all now with SHIII - screenshot series, stories, movies, mods - and now I thought I'd try my hand at drawing.

I'm a complete art n00b, technically speaking (it's not part of my profession and I've not had any art classes or projects for a good 7 years now), but I try.

Here's a couple of sketches I did recently.

(~40 minutes pencil + 10 photoshop)

Original:

(~3 hrs pencil + 40 minutes photoshop tweaking for both)

Anyone else tried to do anything like this? Do share!

I drove an Alpha russian sub a while back, in pencil as well - inspired by red october movie. Haven't tried much since, but I think you did a very nice job there~!

I just wish I could draw like that.

I have hard time to draw even a stickman.

Default SHIII-inspired sketches

There have been so many short stories, sketches, poems and drawings recently on the forums that we should consider and Subsim Art Forum (with Torplexed as its caretaker)!

Maybe, but it depends how many people would use such a forum...

I'd hate to have another empty and uninteresting forum...
