Since I started to use RUB 1.45. It becomes almost impossible to identify the ships (enemy or natural). The flags are too small to see and on the map, it stopped marking enemy ships with red color (only after sink).
Well, I tried to use the WO command "Identify Target" but he only reply with 'Target Identified' without any further indication if it is an enemy ship or not. :hmm: Any know-how here? TIA, Temujin |

Only advice I can give and which I prefer the best advice for your current situation is; Get close to the target, I attack from 500m or less.
Good luck! |

You need to look at the Notepad (which is in either the UZO view or Periscope view) and it will tell you the ship after you ask the WO to identify the ship.

![]() Warships are kind'a easy to identify, but it happened to me that I've shot upon a 'small merchant' just to find out it was 'friendly' or natural. Is my question more clear now? TIA, Temujin |

Just sink the bastard and ask questions later
![]() No you have to get close. At night though its all about taking a guess usually i come to the discision that what would a friendly be doing in these waters, it has to be an enemy. And just hope like hell it is ![]() Then again dont take my advice. ![]() |

Hunt convoys. And rip down evereything within. Give a damn on neutrals. They also ship stuff to cigar smoking fat man.

Most of the time, if I cant ID a target, I do what another here said. What would a friendly be doing in these waters? And sink the bastard. Gotten a couple neutrals that way, but ... oh well. Let BDU sort em out.
If Im really concerned, I must admit that I cheat a bit and use the external view to fly over and check the flag. ![]() |
