Weak spots

Is there a information on where to hit ships?
I know the placement of a torp influences the amount of damage. I have sunk a c3 with a 2 torps, and other times it takes 3.

Interenst last night I had a destroyer running straight at me while I was targeting another ship. I managed to line up a stern shot at him the torp went below the ship missing the bow but exploded midship. It anounced my torp missed..but seconds later the ship went down, not sure if I got credit for that one...but one heck of a shot
