How to input one value only in the TDC?

Hi. Question: I have my solution worked out...AOB...speed...range...and hit the tick mark on the main page to send the solution to the computer. Ok...no probs....the computer will automatically change the AOB value as long as the recticle is pointed at the target (or whatever target it is looking at)....and no need to change the speed once I've worked it out...BUT ....the ship comes closer and I want to input a final range value before shooting to make sure the solution is accurate as possible....HOW do I send ONLY the range value to the computer WITHOUT sending the AOB value as well? I mean, if I take the range value one last time and hit the tick in the main page, not only will it send the new range value to the TDC and torp, but won't it also send the AOB value I have in the AOB window as well...which was accurate minutes ago, but is not now - it doesn't need to be updated because it has been changing the value automatically? How can I just send the range value and nothing else?

Go directly to the TDC screen and adjust it manually.
