Good book on the capabilities of ASDIC and Hydrophones

I am looking for a good book on the technical capabilities and performance of the ASDIC and Hydrophones used during WWII. I am also very interested on their technical evolution during that period.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated !!!

Try the book "Seek and Strike" , it is basically an ASDIC "bible"
