Default I need help to return back to my old Bow Spray...

...because something changed it,i think it was one of the latest visibility mod (16 km visibility light mod).
My problem is...i get a negative looking bow spray.
During night time my bow wave look black, its something that start to annoy me,because during night it was the only way for me to see a ship, and because they look very bad when a search light spot me
Anyone know how to revert back to my old bow spray?
Thanks for any help.

I have no idea... I just answer so you dont feel ignored... maybe a re-install will be the fastest cure... Dont forget to backup your savegames! (game will ask to leave them but sometimes one click can be one click to much

I did it when I messed up sh3. Now I dont install any mod without JSGME... lesson learned...

So...nobody know where i have to look?
I've reinstalled some old mod that modified the bow spray and nothing,...so it must be some sort of setting hidden in some file.
I feel really ignored

EDIT:Ah damn,i'm Popeye

Well it's nothing wrong with visibility mod itself, but if you install some mod over Visibility mod that have scene.dat file it can screw up things quite much.
So make sure you dont have any of those mods enabled over visbility mod

I was thinking it must be the scene.dat
Now i've reinstalled another scene, and im doing some test.

The scene.dat has Hexadecimal value inside?I can try to change with the SH3 Minitweaker? And if i can, what value i have to change?

Tested...i don't understand...
Changed everything...the size of the moon and sun,the ambient light...but all the bow spray are very dark!
I've tested shooting starshell around a ship at night and nothing, the bow spray are still dark looking.

Uff...

I need sleep now
Thanks anyway

You might want to check the texture file which should be located in
...data/textures/TNorm/tex/bubbles_01.tga
replacing that might be the trick but it sounds more complex than that.

Good luck

Thanks,I was cheching everything...but im a bit sick of losing time instead of playing...
So i loaded the game and played
Its a bit annoying but i can survive.
Maybe the next visibility mod can adress this problem. The night it's too dark for me,and i think im not the only one with this problem.

When the human eye get used to dark,in a good night, even without moon and only the star and in an ambient without artificial light you can see very well...i think.
I talk for experience, because i love to walk around at night in a forest(when i can,so it's mean only when im on vacation )
I remember seeing around very well.

maybe im wrong,or maybe im some sort of vampire or werewolf
Anyway, rant off and thank everyone for the help
