When I examine the "AI_Sensors.dat" file I can see that it specifies the features of the sonar and hydrophones used by the AI ships.
Specifically it includes the "MinElevation" and "MaxElevation" parameters for the sonars and hydrophones. In the case of the "AI_Sonar" it can be seen: MinElevation = 90 MaxElevation = 100 And in the case of the "AI_Hydrophone" it can be seen: MinElevation = 80 MaxElevation = 170 What do these parameters mean? Do they define the arc covered by the sensor (in degrees)? Does 0 degrees correspond to the vertical direction, pointing upwards? Then, does 90 degrees correspond to the horizontal direction (sea surface)? If so, why the MinElevation of the Hydrophone is 80 degrees?... This would mean that the MinElevation of the Hydrophone would be avobe the sea surface... Thank you very much for your help !!!! Txema |
