Default IUb Graphic Problem

Just fired up IUb and ran into a problem. When I went onto the deck . . . . all my crew were "faceless". They all had greyish or blueish slabs instead of faces. Is this a common problem?

I'm running an Nvidia 6800GT with the latest drivers. I AM running at a higher resolution . . .

As far as I know it isn´t. Try an older driver.

I moved to the 81.85 drivers for perfomance . . . and they seem to be delivering. Moving back because of issues with one game is not a good resolution.

UPDATE : ****! Just verified this is NOT an IUb issue but definitely a driver related. With no patches applied I get the same results.

I can go to the bridge and see my crew, but if I look directly at them they turn grey/blue. They has to be some settings that can help with this. I'm open to any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Try an older driver!

Or change your antialiasing and anisotropic filtering settings, maybe that helps.

The latest 81.94 driver fixes this "fogging" problem in SH3 that was introduced a couple of updates ago. I had the same issue myself.

Hey! That solved it! I hadnt realized there was a "newer" set of drivers. I guess NVIDIA found a problem and pushed those out shortly after I got the previous ones.

ALL IS WELL WITH AND WITHOUT IUb!
