Default Bermuda Triangle & Friendly Fire!

I am currently working my way through the Naval Academy and last night came across 2 different happenings.

i) In the Torpedo mission I had been tracking a ship for about 20 minutes when all of a sudden it just dissappeared off the screen. I am in A084, so I am nowhere near the Bermuda Triangle. This is the second time this has occured, as it happened the night before as well.

ii) In the Convoy mission I had sunk my first Merchant and was diving away from a Destroyer. The Destroyer dropped 2 lots of DC`s on me, and then as he was turning for another run, one of the other ships started firing on him. I checked their colours and they were both allied ships.

With my limited game time I am assuming both of these have happened previously. The question is can I stop this, and if so how?

Many Thanks

SZ

I use the academy for trials and tests, torpedos..etc

the convoy mission i can surface and go everywhere withouth any risk , but only if i don´t fire any torpedo. like a peace time :rotfl:

didn't dissappear ... happened to me too ... he hauled a** because he knew he was next.... so you need to surface and flank speed in the last direction you saw it heading.. you'll eventually catch up ....

Also if their engines get turned off for some reason, you'll lose track too.

Also, it has been confirmed that a ship or convoy that reached it's last waypoint simply vanishes from the game..

Might sound crazy, I've noticed the Friendly fire incident and also seen them collide a few times.

I just put it down to a bad captain and inexperienced crew.
