The Volvo Race is a big check for me. Never had the chance to lap the globe but I've done a couple of blue water ocean races and reached the pinnacle of competitive yaching back in my home country.

Now in the new country, I'm thinking of getting something a little more sedate (but still raceable)

But I think the odss on them winning are worse than 100 to 1, so If they are out of the picture then I am jumping on the Ericson bandwagon.

I'll be watching the Melbourne in-port race from on the water, Feb 4 IIRC, should be great.

Which boat's campaign will fall victim to the Southern Ocean?
