How to hit airport in " Land Strike"

Just dug out this game from my closet. played though all the campain missions but I'm stuck on the "land stike". I'm on station, have launch against the sam site and destroyed it but the no matter how many missles I launch at the airport, I cannot complete the mission as it keeps saying I have only damaged it. I have set the way points to the correct long/lats.

Is this a bug in the game or what??

This is really bothering me. I have read through all the posts and have not read one that enabled me to get by this mission.

Is there a way I can default this figging mission so I could continue with the campain? I want to finnish this campain so I can start on the added missions.

Well, I suppose if you go into the mission editor, you can do one of the following:

(1) Read through the goals and figure what you are doing wrong.

(2) Add debugging statements and figure what you are doing wrong or what is broken.

(3) Modify the scenario so that you can get past it.
