I use both SHIIIcmdr and RUb1.44 (great mods
![]() I recently got the VIIB U-boat (realistic crewconfigurations): Officers : 5 Pettyofficers: 16 Sailors : 30 When submerged I only have about ten free slots, with both the bow and the stern quaters entirely filled with people. It's not challenging at all ![]() So what is wrong? I don't get it. 51 people in a VIIB seems really too much. Something wrong in the game files maybe...? |

To avoid this problem, I use the max number of officers and petty officers, but only 25 sailors. This way everyone not at a duty station, is in a bunk while surfaced. When submerged I leave 4 sailors in the torpedo section, (changing them around once in a while to combat fatigue) I haven't had a problem yet with 5 less sailors, and I've been using this system for a long time now. Hope this helps.

Thx, so I suppose 51 is correct. Nothing wrong with the gamefiles
![]() What is the crewnumber without the realistic crew configurations? I'm thinking about switching it off the next patrol, I don't use longterm fatigue anyways. So less crewmembers isn't really a problem. |

As far as I know , the number of men is the same regardless of which config you use. The differance is in the qualifications assigned to them at the start. Also, if the game starts out trying to give me to many men (more than I want) I just dismiss some of the lowest ranking ones, from the crew before I set sail.
