Default Terrifying Experience

I was playing the other day and for some reason when I get near liverpool, the weather is always bad. In any event it was very stormy weather with fog to make it that much more worse. Im in my VIIB riding on the surface at flank speed trying to get to liverpool as fast as possible in the least amount of time possible.

Its late 1942, Im cruising along when I decide That me, the EL KAPITAN needs to go to the freezer and get some more "Brewski" St Pauli Girl to be exact. I stop the boat (surfaced) and proceed to go in the kitchen to get more beer. W/O pausing the game. When i realize the potential impact of not being at the controls of my boat if we came in contact with an enemy.

I run back into the room and see that everything is ok. As I sit down in my chair, I pop the cap on the beer, prop my feet up and proceed to set "Ahead Flank". Directly behind me no more than 25 yards away, this MASSIVE Destroyer breaks through the fog at full flank speed towards me. At first it looked almost like a a shark fin, which is why it scared me so much, but then I noticed the bow breaking through the waves and the rivets bolted unto the hull.

While Im FALLING out of my seat, CHOKING on my beer, and FUMBLING for the controls on the keyboard, the Destroyer then decides to open up on me with every forward facing gun. Im so terrified looking at this BEHEMOTH barrelling down on me that I can barely issue orders all the while my XO is screaming at me that we are taking damage and warship spotted!!

Then the battleship starts drop a million and one DC's all over my position. Needless to say the DC'ing drove me and my crew maaaad.... Eventually the ship left, I was left with a skeleton crew as the majority of my men were killed. :P

Glad you enjoyed it. Believe you me, at the time, it was NOT funny. Especially while I was choking and staring death in the face.
