Default Any Dallas Stars fans here?

Im a long time Stars fan from the days they played in Minnesota. Have to say im little worried about the teams performance in defensive aspects of the game. . But proud of how the teams Finns are playing in individual level Anyone seen them play? Your impressions? Looking from here, Lehtinen seems solid as a rock and Jokinen and Miettinen are living up to the potential. Must remember however that the season is long but i think this team has potential

The Kipper.

Not that hes playing bad this year- but I think we Flames fans were expecting too much from him though. :hmm:

He sure shines though when playing Edmonton. We are guaranteed another 12 points this season from them.

The team that Sports Illustrated picked for #1 is just doing so-so, at best, and we need the big guns to kick in. Think Iggy.

Still lots of hockey yet....

Yeah defence and our specialty teams Iggy always has had a slow start for some reason. He was on fire last night though. Scored a goal and was on the winning end of a fight, but not enough. 4-1 loss for the Flames.

What do you think about the new rules? Not to keen on them myself. I find the "shootout" a bit silly. Ive never liked the "shootout" to determine the winner.

Calgary was always a physical team and the new rules are making old habits hard to change.

Edit: Nice pic. The girl top row middle would be my pick. If I could.

To bad though Dallas couldnt even come up with one real blonde.

Im for the new rules except the shootout. Its just takes a little time for everybody to adjust. We should see more skill in the ice.I also dont see the point in deciding a game that way.I didnt like it when they went to this in our main league also.

I used to be a Stars fan, But I switched over to Toronto a few years ago. However I still have a soft spot for Dallas.

Wish I had cable TV, I never get to see any matches on my Stupid Australian Free to air

Kipprusoff is a good player (in my franchise on NHL 2k6 for XBOX I traded to get him)
