Default A little video

I did a little video by using ingame scenes taken from DW.
Size: ~30MB.
Im not really experienced with making videos, but I hope you still like it

You can download the video by rightclicking on the link and selecting "save target as"

DW-Ingame-Video (~30MB)

Its using the DivX Codec

GREAT VIEDO!!!!

Good choice of music

I like very much the little details, like the parachute.

If you admit suggestions... observations, a takeoff form the carrier would be great.
And, maybe, you abuse of the diagonal camera... only for finding something bad :hmm:

I like it very much and recommend it to everybody.

Great video !! You have done best you could with DW graphic engine ! Great camera work It could make very good work of attracting people to DW, if the gfx were not little outdated...
One thing that I miss here - there is nothing in the video that would suggest that it's actually not a fleet-command-like but a simulation game!

If you could add to the video some views of DW platform interfaces at work (sonars - different platforms and BB/NB, ECM, peri, fire control screen while launching torps and THEN show torps launched from tubes, Perry fire control screen, P-3 cocpit and gram displays/FLIR views. Would be even better then, and show how sophiscated simulation this is, from outside views only you can't see that.

Thanx alot!
Ferdeboer: Unfortunately planes that take off from a carrier accelerate from 0 mph to full speed in 0 seconds. That looks really ugly Therefore I decided not to use that scene. And because I was afraid nobody would download a rather big movie, I took some scenes out of it, to make it smaller.

Ami: I will try to include some interface views in the next video, the problem was just the size.

I already have a vague idea about a 2nd video that has more of a plot/stoy. But I guess I should wait for the patch, where the framerate is improved. :hmm:

Very cool movie! As somebody else already said, you picked some good music for it. I liked the shot of the P-3 (I think that was it) going down in flames. Looking forward to another
