Here's what I've done:
Clean install of SH3 Installed latest patch Install SH3 Commander Run SH3 Commander, enter name, select options etc... SH3 Starts No files created. No campaigns, nothing. Start a new campaign, save. Run SH3 Commander SH3 Commander doesn't see the saved game. What am I doing wrong? Is there some trick I missed?? Please let me know. Thanks. |

I had the problem one time. But it has worked at the second attempt.
Have you run SH3 from the sh3commander button " Launch SH3" ? |

Two things:
1. SH3Cmdr writes your new career settings to your main.cfg file. However, this file does not exist until SH3 is run at least once. So, before using SH3Cmdr, you have to run SH3 to create the file. In fact, in the next release, with user's having the ability to adjust their time compression settings, SH3Cmdr will not load at all if it cannot find main.cfg. The user will receive a message alerting them to the problem. 2. SH3 does not create certain career files until you have finished at least one patrol. SH3Cmdr needs these files to retrieve specific info about the career. Thus careers not having these files are excluded. This is outlined in the help.html file. |

Running the program once and creating a campaign seemed to make it work properly. Thanks for the help. I wonder why it wouldn't work with my old installation and campaigns...
