Default RUB 1.44: Status of Jungman's SonarDC mod.

I noted that jasonb885 (before he departed) would always recommend Jungman's SonarDC mod "so that you can escape elite DDs". I never did download the Jungman mod, but I am curious about it now. I use RuB 1.44 + IC(08 Oct) + Cmdr 2.2 .

Is this work on the elite DDs already included in either RuB or Cmdr 2.2 ? Or do I need to add it separately if I desire it?

Thanks!

Good question. I think Beery has it included but I'm not sure.
Perhaps ask Jungman.

I have one of the versions in RUb, but there were a lot of sonar mods at the time, so I'm not sure if I got the final one.

Jungmann is currently working on a super zon pack that includes all sorts of godies including one fantastic damage model.

I would wait and look out for his Die Hard mod.

Default SO acting a little weird

Couldn't find anywhere else to put this so I'll toss it in here because it mentions RuB and Sonar. I installed RuB 1.44 last night and this happened to me twice while on patrol:

I dove to periscope depth to listen for a contact. Found one and had my SO track it. He was a long ways off so I surfaced sped across the ocean for awhile in the general direction of the contact and dove again to listen.

Now I think this is common practice but while I was surfaced my SO continued to give me updates on the bearing of the contact. I went to the station to "turn off" the command but the buttons where all greyed out because, of course, it shouldn't be working while surfaced.

My current SOP is to get one last report from the SO and go to the crew management screen, surface, increase TC to 4x, adjust my heading, put my WO up on the bridge then jump to TC of 64x until I reach my destination and reverse the process.

Just wanted to put his out there to see if anyone else had this happen to them or if it was a know bug.

BTW what a difference RuB vs out of package. HOLY SHNIKES!! is it tough (but more rewarding)
