Default Craziy convoy

Just had the craziest convoy attack. July 1942, BdU called a task force heading straight for me, so naturally I headed off towards it.
Got to it and it turned out to be a massive convoy, containing 4 T2's and a bunch of C3, C2 and coastal merchants.

Guarded by 2 Flowers and a Clemson.

While sneaking into range, one flower behind me started pinging like mad. Fired a pair of torps into a tanker then fired a Falke at the flower and dived.

By the time I surfaced, the convoy was a mess, ships heading east and west, all tangled up, coming to a halt etc. Spent the next couple of hours merrily blasting tankers and C3's.

It was so confused that at one point I was caught at periscope depth by two C2's heading in opposite directions with me in the middle. By the time I realised the danger, the sub was already being rolled through 45degrees. No damage of note though.

The thing is, the biggest warship I saw was a Clemson. Still wondering why it was called a task force

I was hunting around BF13 & BF 15 when I did a scan with my hydraphone. I suddenly pick up two convoys
The first, which was heading out, had an escort of 6, while the second, which was heading out, only had one!, no guess which I went for
I sent an intercept for it, and reversed course on me! as soon as it appeared on the horizon, down to periscope depth and in we go.
2 T3, 1 T2, 1 C3, 2 C2 & a Troop Transport on the bottom, my IXB torp rooms empty, I pull away from the convoy without been detected
The single escort spent most of the time running around the edge of the convoy.
Is it just a bug that it turned back? This is mid 1941 and a single escort? I'm not going to complain with the results, but has anyone else had this happen to them?
At least I don't have to explain this one to Churchill!!

1st Officer: It said in the book limit depth to 150 meters, Sir

Captin : I don't consider it a limit! I consider it a challenge!!
