I have been away for about 6 months and was wondering what I should check out and download.

I would recommend taking a look at The Avon Lady' s SH3 FAQ -

The post includes a list of suggested mods and the correct order to iinstall them. It has just been updated today, I' ve noticed. Don' t forget to thank the poster, though I do not think she is a real 'Avon Lady'.

Well there's so many different mods it's astonishing. But the Avon Lady's SH3 FAQ page has some very good mods listed with download links included and I suggest it as a really good place to start!
