Default TrackIR compatible?

I wonder if TrackIR will work with this game?

Of course, NP would have to do their software thing.

Im sure you can make SH3 TrackIR compatible by either of two ways:

1. Ubi develops the game using the TrackIR development tool kit.
(a little late for that,eh?)

2. Use the trackmapper utility along with the TrackIR.
I used this method recently to get Janes LB2 working with TrackIR.
Noting LB2 was developed in 1998.

What the point? You will be able to slew the views in the uboat, or the periscope, or the external views with just the movement of your head.
Not sure its worth spending the cost of a TrackIR unit for just SH3.
But if youre a flight simmer or race car simmer, its very worth it.

I already have TrackIR. I thought it may add to the sub experience.

Razz

then by all means, go to Naturalpoint.com and download the trackmapper utility. Teach it the commands you want for each quadrant of your head slewing and youre good to go with the current TIR drivers.
