I think I figured out why most of my torpedoes ended up missing their targets. Once I had all the info I needed for a torpedo attack, I wasn't pressing the tick button on the "primary" notepad, thus sending all relevent data to the TDC. lol
since I've started doing this, my torpedo attacks have been alot better, much higher sucess rate :P |

Ahhh yes this is what SH3 is all about. After discovering why my torpedos were missing, so far i'm 17 days into a patrol, and i've sunk 2 ships. A Coastal Merchant and a Small merchant.
Not very big, but its a start. i've already had a run in with some destroyers too and had a few depth charges (being dropped in the wrong place of course). All has begun well so far for the first patrol of U48. I am currently navigating down the Irish Sea avoiding another destroryer that appeared up behind me, they haven't seen me and I'm down at 90m at Silent running. They have passed VERY close to me, but haven't attacked. Ahh yes, this is what its all about fellow Uboot men ![]() |
