Default Conserving air while submerged

I was thinking of this today while I sit here at my desk at work. Here is the deal.

When I leave for work everyday at 10:00am I submerge my boat, dive down to 100-150 ft and set a course, then I drive to work. 10 hours later I come home and surface my boat and resume the war.

My question is this, does the game conserve more air if more of my crew are in there bunks sleeping or is this not modled in the game?

Thanks.

Somehow, I don't think the game is that advanced.

I've wondered the same about silent running. I figure if they're talking less, they're breathing less. Though I really doubt it makes any difference in game.

...Then again... there have been a number of things that shocked me that ARE modelled such correct night skies including constellations/ stars that change position as time goes on.

I´ve just tried it, it´s not modelled.

Everyone on station+not running silent and most men in the quarters+running silent, the CO2 level was the same after 24 hours.
