Default REALTIME??

Just wondering.. How much of each mission do you play in realtime?

I usually play in realtime on attack (ofcourse) and sometimes when intercepting or staying silent under the enemy...

How do You do?

Sometimes I might play on TCx1 for a few hours, if the sea is calm. I love the way the sea in SHIII looks like.

But mostly, I play on TCx64 so my patrols arent just shooting ships, it´s alot of waiting too.

So, I went to Wal-Mart and Sams, got 6 months of supplies (to be safe) and just a pair of underware and two military uniforms from the surplus store. I got the humidifier going as I closed the closet door where all the provisions were and one hot plate (no fridge allowed). Starting SH3 I played for weeks in real time, with the sound turned up so that any sightings would wake me. Every so often I would go to the can or open the door and look outside for short breaks. After a week, things really started to stink and the cans of food started piling up (didn't allow myself to have garbage bags as they are a modern thing).

Just kidding! I to 4096 most of the time now that I have that fixed. I only do realtime when the enemy is sighted, etc.

Can you imagine?

1x compression ALL THE WAY!!!

Unfortunately, I haven't sailed in more than three weeks. I've spent so much time modding things in-game lately there hasn't been time to sail. The mod shop has been COOKIN' lately.

I do use time compression to test new mods... but thats it.

I ususally TC at 2048 when being assigned a patrol square in South America or South Africa...Otherwise, at 1024, and RT when performing an attack setup or being chased by DDs...
