Default Optics mod

Can anyone explain why the Optics mod when I've activated it doesn't change the display layout of the UZO and Periscope optics?

cheers guys :P

It probably doesn't change the "lay-out."

It may only "tone-down" bright textures for better night vision/usage... and may only remove crosshairs... depending on which mod you are using...

There have been many optics mods.

I hope that helps.

Well according to Subsim and the screenshot link below, the Optics mod that's avaliable for download should make your periscope optics look like the screenshot below:

My layout hasn't changed at all :S

Can anyone explain now? lol :P

cheers guys

Make sure you put the TGA in the correct folder. It does not go into tthe normal TEX (texture) folder like most TGA mods do.

D:\SilentHunterIII\DATA\Menu\Gui - Periscope.tga

Common mistake.
