Default I must object sir.

I just made my 190th post and noticed that my avatar has now changed from a fairly handsome and rugged "Navy Dude" (which actually looked a lot like me ) into some kind of transvestite.

So, to Neal or whoever is responsibe for this, I feel obliged to state that I have never been to Bangkok. More's the pity, I hear it's indeed a fun town.

I hit submit by mistake , I had a lot more ranting and raving to go but I notice that that avatar was mercifully short lived. Thank God.

I did wake up one morning while on liberty in Hong Kong in 1978 without my shoes or any idea what happened to them, but certainly didn't have any makeup on.

The fact that that monstrosity didn't last long saved you guys from a lot of inane posts by me. I was determined to blast through that one tonight.

Anyway, that was pretty funny. :rotfl: I like this forum.

I actually enjoyed the rough night in Bangkok. Reminded me of when I spent the late 1980s keeping myself in a relatively legless state in Salzburg.

Anybody who was around during Drebbel's trial might remember how many people ended up in the brig. Poor America Person kept trying to get himself jailed, but all Neal ever gave him was that silly little "Sailor Dan" cartoon.

But indeed, a simple donation will let you have whatever avatar and title you want...hence my lofty position-higher than any sea lord.
