In SH2 the engine telegraph had a setting to select either diesel propulsion or electric propulsion. Is there a way to switch manually in SH3, or is it dependent entirely on boat depth?
Edit: To be able to run electric surfaced. |

Honestly, someone should release a mod for this. On real U-Boats, the engine order telegraph had orders like "E-Maschienen", "Diesel Moteren", "Auchtung", "Alarm", etc., plus the regular speed commands. These were used to select propulsion methods, and to warn the engine room crew that the boat was about to dive. Also, to gain extra speed, a U-Boat Kaleun could couple the diesels and the electric moters togther on the surface for speed. There should be a way to modify the engine telegraph in Silent Hunter III so that it also has these capabilities.
Gute Jagd, meine Freunden!
