Default She's going down captian!

I encountered - then sunk - my first liner yesterday

It took two fish near the bow, then sunk a couple minutes later.
We even managed to slip away quietly and return home to enjoy our victory

I'm jealous! Only saw one ever and it was neutral.

Good job mate!

Looks like they're going to put those extra liferafts to good use... Nice job. I have yet to sink one.

I've sunk about 3 or 4 by now; although it should be less now that I use Improved Convoys which removed these massive guys from convoys.

Catching a single like that though... impressive. There ain't many of them out there

It was actually part of a mid-sized convoy with 4DD escorts, I had used all four bow torps just before I saw it and had to reload 2 fish to sink it.

I'm using RuB and SH3Commander which I thought made the same changes as Improved Convoys ?

I remember getting lucky one dark night in late '42; I was still with my old love, U-539, and was chasing down a convoy when I found myself staring at a passenger liner off the port bow...I had blundered right into the middle of the convoy (we were in a heavy fog). Sucker took three torps before he went down.

Maybe I'll run into one with U-48...

I found one in a convoy. One fish under the bow was enough to let it sail itself into the depth. 11.000+ Tons!

It's one of the Merchant Variety Pack skins I'm currently advertising.
